Green Moong Sprouts fritters

Green Moong Sprouts Fritters are tasty, delicious and nutritious even though they are fried. In the evening, when you need something along with a hot cup of tea, these moong fritters can be served with Coriander chutney as a satisfying snack.



Ingredients: 
  • 1 cup sprouted green Moong (fresh)
  • 1  Tablespoon  Besan (gram flour)
  • 1 cup chopped Spring Onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped Green Chili
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped Ginger 
  • 1/4 teaspoon Asafetida
  • 1/2 cup chopped Cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon jeera powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon oil for moyan
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fennel seed
  • Oil for deep frying

    Procedure:

    1. Keep 1 tablespoon Sprouted Moong aside and Grind remaining Spouted moong with garlic cloves and ginger.
    2. Don't over crushed, make coarse paste without adding water.
    3. Add all spices, salt, green chilies chopped, fennel seed and spring onion chopped.
    4. Add chopped coriander leaves, 1 tablespoon of sprouted moong and besan(gram flour) mix properly make thick consistency of batter.
    5. Heat oil in frying pan on medium flame.
    6. Add 1 tablespoon of hot oil in batter and mix well.
    7. Drop a spoonful of batter in frying pan.
    8. Fry till golden brown and crispy. They are crispy outside and soft inside.
    9. Serve hot with coriander chutney.
