Pineapple Lassi

Lassi, a probiotic blend is a treat for any time of the day-  Breakfast, Meal-on-the-go, or anytime. Pineapple lassi: Great taste in a power-packed probiotic beverages made with homemade dahi (yogurt) and flavored with Pineapple, saffron and some spices.

  • 1/2 cup grated/crushed Pineapple
  • 4-5 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cup homemade yogurt (or organic)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon heavy cream (optional)
  • 7-8 saffron threads
  • salt on taste
  • black pepper on taste
  • 3-4 ice cubes

  • Heat the pan, add Grated Pineapple and sugar, mix well and sauté it for 2 -3 minutes.  Keep aside and Allow it to cool down completely or chill it for some time.
  • Add yogurt, milk, heavy cream, ice cubes, saffron and salt into the blender and blend it.
  • Add cooked pineapple into the yogurt mixture and Pour into the glasses.
  • Sprinkle black pepper on top of Lassi and serve.
