Paneer-Coconut Katli is an Indian dessert similar to a burfi. These Katlis are great in taste, quick, no-bake and quite easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup grated Paneer (cottage cheese)
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1/4 teaspoon rose essence
- In a bowl, mix together paneer, condensed milk, desiccated coconut and cardamom powder to form a dough.
- Sprinkle rose essence over the dough and knead well.
- Divide the dough into two equal pieces and make two big balls of dough.
- Take a ball on flat surface, cover with butter paper and roll each ball thinly with a roller into a flat circle.
- Refrigerate the rolled circles for 10-15 minutes.
- Take out and cut into small squares or diamond shaped katlies.
- Garnish with Pistachio and refrigerate in an airtight container.
