Coriander chutney

This is a very tasty chutney made using fresh coriander and can be prepared in minutes. It can be used as spread for sandwiches and also as a favorite accompaniment for most of snacks like chat, pakoras, samosas, dhoklas etc




Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh Cilantro or Coriander leaves
  • 2 Green chilies
  • small piece of ginger 
  • 3-4 Garlic cloves 
  • 3 tablespoon Grated coconut (fresh )
  • 3 tablespoon roasted peanut
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon chopped raw mango (if available) (not then add more lemon juice)
  • Salt to taste

  • Method:
    1 Wash coriander leaves thoroughly and allow the water to drain.
    2 Grind all the ingredients to a fine paste adding little water.
    3 Green chutney is ready. Refrigerate it.
