kele ki sukhi sabzi (Raw banana stir fry)

Kele ki Sukhi  Sabzi ( Dry Banana Sabzi):


  • 3 raw Banana
  • 1 teaspoon chopped Green chilies (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Butter or ghee (or use oil)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 1/8 teaspoon asafetida
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon khaskhas (poppy seeds)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon shredded fresh coconut
  1. Boil the Bananas, Peel it and cut it in thin slices.
  2. Heat Oil or butter in a pan, add cumin seed and asafetida.
  3. Then add turmeric powder, banana slices, green chilies and salt.  Mix it and sauté for some time. 
  4.  Now add Lemon juice, poppy seeds, sugar and coconut. Sauté it for 1 minute.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and Serve hot .
