Poha Pattice:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Thin/ Thick Poha
- 3 Tablespoon Besan (gram flour)
- 1/4 cup chopped Onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped Green Chile
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Pinch of Asafetida
- 2 tablespoon chopped Cilantro
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- Wash the poha, strain the water and keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Then mix all the ingredients into the poha along with enough salt.
- Add water if required and mix well.
- Make the small balls form the mixture, flatten them and keep aside.
- Heat the oil for shallow frying, drop gently the prepared pattice and fry on both sides on medium flame until they turn golden brown and crispy.
- If you want you can bake it on nonstick pan instead of deep frying.
- Serve hot with coriander chutney.
